Bangladesh Government Holiday Calendar 2020
Every year Ministry of Public Administration (MOPA) published a public holiday calendar that obeys in Government office, autonomous, semi-autonomous as well as other private companies, banks, etc. After the cabinet meeting on Sunday unanimously MOPA approves the public holiday calendar of 2020 that locally called chutir talika or sutir talika.

An employee giving permission not more than 3 days optional left enjoyment base on his religion and each employee needs it pre-approved by the appropriate authority from the beginning of the year. By adding general, government executive order and weekend holiday the optional leave can be given.
A holiday or local word “chuti” is always enjoyable. Our govt workers get twice chuty in a week, on the other hand, non-govt workers get once in a week its Friday. So, non-govt workers hardly find any opportunity for a vacation. Besides their workload is more than a govt worker.
