1- What is the Nature of Aspen Chemical Engineering
Aspen Chemical Engineering is a process engineering company that specializes in the design and construction of chemical plants. The company was founded in 1968 by Dr. William J. Aspen, a professor of chemical engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Aspen Chemical Engineering has completed over 3,000 projects in more than 60 countries around the world.
The company’s services include process design, equipment specification and selection, plant layout and piping design, project management, construction management, start-up assistance, and operator training. Aspen Chemical Engineering also offers a variety of software products for use in chemical engineering applications.

Michael Jordan is a former American basketball player who is widely considered to be the greatest of all time. His career spanned over two decades, during which he won six NBA Championships with the Chicago Bulls and was named the NBA Finals MVP on each occasion.
He also won two Olympic gold medals as part of the United States men’s basketball team. Alongside his individual accolades, Jordan is credited with popularizing the NBA around the world in the 1980s and 1990s.
Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York, on February 17, 1963.
He later moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, where he attended Emsley A. Laney High School. As a freshman at Laney, he failed to make his school’s varsity team but worked diligently to improve his game. The following year he made the cut and went on to average more than 25 points per game for his final three seasons of high school play.
In 1982, Jordan accepted an athletic scholarship to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC).
As a Tar Heel freshman, Jordan averaged 13.4 points per game en route to being named ACC Rookie of the Year. The following season he helped lead UNC to an NCAA Championship victory over Patrick Ewing’s Georgetown Hoyas; during that championship run he hit what has become known as “The Shot”—a last-second jumper that gave UNC a one-point win over Georgetown in the Elite Eight round of tournament play (a game widely regarded as one of college basketball’s greatest ever).
That same year Jordan was named College Player of the Year and unanimously selected first-team All-American; he would go on to repeat those honors as a sophomore before declaring himself eligible for the 1984 NBA Draft following his junior season.
In 1984, despite concerns about his relatively small frame (he stood just 6’6″), Jordan was drafted third overall by the Chicago Bulls—behind Hakeem Olajuwon (Houston Rockets) and Sam Bowie (Portland Trail Blazers). He would go on to enjoy one of the most successful rookie seasons in NBA history: not only did he earn All-Star Game and All-Rookie Team honors while averaging 28.2 points per game but he also became justthe fourth player everto be named Rookie ofthe Yearand Defensive Playeroftheright away(joining Alvan Adams [1975], Dave Cowens [1970]and Sidney Wicks[1971]).
