Black Privilege Opportunity Comes to Those Who Create It by Charlamagne Tha God
In his book, Black Privilege, Charlamagne Tha God argues that opportunity comes to those who create it. He believes that the black community has been held back by a victim mentality, and that success is only possible if blacks take responsibility for their own lives. He urges blacks to embrace their “blackness” and to use it as a source of strength.
While some may see this as controversial, Charlamagne’s message is one of empowerment and self-reliance.
“In a recent interview, Charlamagne Tha God spoke about the concept of black privilege and how it’s something that is earned, not given. He explains that while some may see being black as a disadvantage, he sees it as an opportunity to create his own success.
Charlamagne shares his story of growing up in poverty and making something of himself through hard work and determination.
He wants others to know that they can do the same thing if they’re willing to put in the effort. While racism still exists, Charlamagne believes that we all have the power to rise above it and create our own opportunities.
Black Privilege Poem
“Black Privilege”
By: Elite Founder
I have a dream, that one day black people will be able to walk the streets without fear.
That we will be able to go into any store and not be followed by the employees. I have a dream that we will be able to get quality education and not have to worry about if our children will be safe at school. I have a dream that one day we can all live in harmony, regardless of the color of our skin.
This is my reality. As a black person living in America, I face racism and discrimination on a daily basis. And while it would be easy to let this defeat me, I choose to rise above it.
Because I know that I am not alone in this fight. And as long as we continue to stand together, we will eventually achieve equality.
