I decided to write my own vampire novel, one that would feature a strong, complex female vampire protagonist. Blood of Shadows is the result. My goal was to create a vampire character who was neither good nor evil, but somewhere in between – a shade of gray, as it were.

Someone who had to make difficult choices and live with the consequences. It wasn’t easy, but I’m very proud of the result. Blood of Shadows is a dark, atmospheric book that I hope will send chills down your spine.
